Architectural concrete impregnation BETONTEC W80

The BETONTEC W80 architectural concrete impregnation significantly reduces the risk of structural damage to concrete caused by atmospheric factors. It effectively protects against the harmful effects of salt, acid rain and other aggressive substances for up to 10 years. In addition, this preparation protects the surface against the formation of micro-cracks and erosion, which is particularly important at low temperatures.

Architectural concrete impregnation BETONTEC W80

Greater durability of architectural concrete surfaces with BETONTEC W80 – advanced nanotechnology for reliable protection. This modern hydrophobic preparation has been developed to effectively protect various architectural concrete structures and objects from moisture, contamination and corrosion of reinforcement. Elements such as walls, concrete elements, curbs, slabs, palisades and pipes gain exceptional resistance to water and harmful substances. Choose BETONTEC W80 to ensure the durability and aesthetics of your architectural projects.

Protection against aggressive environments:

The BETONTEC W80 architectural concrete impregnation significantly reduces the risk of structural damage to concrete caused by atmospheric factors. It effectively protects against the harmful effects of salt, acid rain and other aggressive substances for up to 10 years. In addition, this preparation protects the surface against the formation of microcracks and erosion, which is particularly important at low temperatures.

Application:

  • Recommended for higher class concrete such as BA1, BA2, BA3 (C25/30 to C50/60).
  • Building elevations: It serves as a finishing material for facades, providing a modern and aesthetic appearance.
  • Small architectural elements: Impregnation of walls, fences, pavements, stairs and palisades.
  • Concrete haberdashery: Protection of objects such as flower pots, benches, tables and other garden furniture.
  • Paving and paving slabs: Used to create durable and aesthetic surfaces.
  • Interiors: Used to protect interiors, e.g. walls, floors, kitchen countertops and other decorative elements.
  • Infrastructure: Use in securing bridges, tunnels and other structures requiring high strength.
  • Commercial facilities: Used for impregnation of various buildings, such as offices, hotels and shopping malls.
  • Sculptures and art: Often used by artists to impregnate sculptures and other works of art.

Product properties:

  • Ease and safety of use: Simple to apply.
  • One layer is enough: Effective protection achieved after applying just one layer.
  • Deep penetration: Penetrates up to 4 mm into the material.
  • Vapor permeable impregnation: Allows water vapor to escape.
  • Ecological, water-based formula: Free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
  • Odorless: Perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Colorless: Does not affect the appearance of the substrate.
  • Resistance to UV radiation: Protects against the harmful effects of sunlight.
  • Chemical resistance: Effectively protects against chemicals.
  • High resistance to extreme temperatures: Works well in low and high temperature conditions.
  • Abrasion resistance: Thanks to deep penetration, it ensures durability.

Efficiency:

7-10 m2 per liter – 100 to 150 (ml/m2)

Application methods:

garden sprayer, HVLP gun, bath, roller, brush.

Instruction:

  1. Security: The use of protective glasses and gloves is recommended.
  2. Planning of impregnation: Make sure that no rain is expected for at least 3 hours after impregnation is completed.
  3. Test before application: Always test in an inconspicuous area to see if the effect is desired.
  4. Securing the surroundings: Protect plants and all surfaces that are not to be impregnated, especially glass and steel, with foil. If they become dirty, clean these surfaces immediately with a wet cloth or rinse with water.
  5. Surface preparation: The surface to be impregnated must be clean and dry.
  6. Application of the preparation: Apply the appropriate amount of the preparation to the surface, preferably by spraying, avoiding streaks. Apply only as much impregnation as the concrete can absorb. Excess should be spread with a brush or removed with a cloth.
  7. Drying: Leave to dry. The substrate can be used 30 minutes after impregnation or earlier if the impregnation dries.
  8. The Principle of Layers: Apply one or two coats, but only using the wet-on-wet technique.
  9. Cleaning tools: Tools should be rinsed under running water after use.
