Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT Hydrophobic impregnation

NANO-BAU CONCRETE ARCHITECT This innovative nanotechnology-based product was created to protect surfaces made of smooth, high-density concrete. This penetrating, water-based impregnator is ideal for use on higher-grade concrete, such as C25, C30, and C35. Thanks to its effectiveness, concrete surfaces are not only impregnated but also highly hydrophobic.

Thanks to the use of impregnation NANO-BAU CONCRETE ARCHITECT, water, and other contaminants are prevented from penetrating concrete surfaces. This, in turn, protects the substrate from the negative effects of salt, rain acids that lower the concrete's pH, and other substances that can lead to reinforcement corrosion, cracking, erosion, moss growth, or salt efflorescence. Furthermore, thanks to this preparation, dirt does not remain on the concrete surface.

Hydrophobization of concrete surfaces also has a positive impact on concrete strength and frost resistance. In the autumn and winter, frost can cause moisture in the concrete to freeze, leading to micro-stresses and micro-cracks, and ultimately, concrete damage. Impregnation NANO-BAU CONCRETE ARCHITECT, these problems are minimized.

It is also worth emphasizing that the impregnation does not limit the degree of concrete breathing. Thanks to this, the material can still breathe freely, which is important for maintaining its properties and durability.

Impregnation NANO-BAU CONCRETE ARCHITECT It penetrates the concrete structure up to several millimeters deep, providing resistance to mechanical abrasion. This means it can be used on walls, floors, and parking lots.

The conclusion is that NANO-BAU CONCRETE ARCHITECT This innovative and effective product not only protects concrete surfaces but also increases their durability and frost resistance. This impregnation makes concrete more durable and resistant to weather and other negative external factors.

DIRECTIONS:

  • Plan the impregnation so that after its completion it does not rain for at least 3 hours. At the beginning, always test in an inconspicuous place and check if the effect is there
  • desirable!
  • Protect plants and all other surfaces not to be impregnated with foil, especially glass and steel. In case of contamination, clean these surfaces immediately with a wet cloth or rinse with water. The surface prepared for impregnation must be clean and dry.
  • It is best to apply the appropriate amount of the preparation on the surface by spraying, but so that the impregnation does not create streaks - apply only as much impregnation as the concrete is able to absorb, the excess should be spread with a brush or removed with a cloth. Leave to dry.

ATTENTION! Apply one or two coats but only wet on wet.

Tools should be rinsed with running water.

Architectural concrete is gaining popularity in construction due to its durability and aesthetics. However, to maintain these properties for a long time, appropriate protective impregnations must be used. For this purpose, we recommend the colorless NANO-BAU Beton Architekt impregnation, based on nanotechnology.

  • NANO-BAU Concrete Architect impregnation It penetrates the concrete surface several millimeters deep, creating a hydrophobic barrier that protects the material from moisture and the growth of mosses, algae, and fungi. The impregnation keeps the concrete in perfect condition for up to eight years, which is especially important for high-traffic surfaces such as parking lots and garages.
  • NANO-BAU Architect Concrete It creates a lotus effect, which means it protects the concrete surface from the easy penetration of various substances, such as acid rain, road salt dissolved in water, beverage and food stains, soot, and dust. This makes the concrete less susceptible to staining, prevents darkening, and makes it easier to keep clean.
  • NANO-BAU Concrete Architect impregnation It is colorless and does not alter the color, structure, slipperiness, or gloss of the concrete surface. This preserves the original beauty and finish of the architectural concrete. Even after impregnation, the surface remains matte and natural, a significant advantage for aesthetic architectural elements such as walls, facades, columns, and floors.
  • NANO-BAU Architect Concrete It is a fully vapor-permeable impregnation. This means it allows for the natural exchange of water vapor between the concrete and its surroundings, which is particularly important for structures that require a specific microclimate, such as utility rooms or historic buildings. Thanks to this property, the concrete can breathe and remains healthier and more resistant to the growth of toxic fungi.
  • NANO-BAU Architect Concrete It guarantees dry walls, which is a key aspect in improving the thermal insulation of buildings. Minimizing moisture content in building materials, maintaining good vapor permeability, and preventing corrosion and erosion of reinforcement elements contribute to achieving better energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and building durability.

To sum up, impregnation of architectural concrete with the colorless nanotechnology impregnation NANO-BAU Beton Architekt has many advantages. It provides protection against moisture, protection against dirt and microorganisms, maintaining thermal insulation and aesthetics of concrete, as well as full vapor permeability. Thanks to this, architectural concrete can retain its properties and aesthetics for longer, which makes it more durable and resistant to everyday operating factors.

FAQ – NANO-BAU CONCRETE ARCHITECT

# Question Odpowiedź
1 What is architectural concrete and why does it require special care? Architectural concrete has a porous, "aesthetic" structure that readily absorbs water and dirt, making it more susceptible to stains and discoloration. Using Nano-Bau BETON ARCHITEKT architectural concrete sealer limits the penetration of moisture and dirt into the pores, making it easier to keep surfaces (walls, floors, facades, stairs) clean and looking good.
2 Is architectural concrete impregnation really necessary? In practice, yes, if you want to realistically reduce the risk of permanent stains (coffee, grease, wine), moisture, and faster deterioration outdoors. Nano-Bau BETON ARCHITEKT architectural concrete impregnator, as a hydrophobic impregnator, acts preventatively: it reduces absorbency, improves cleanability, and reduces the frequency of intensive cleaning.
3 How to choose the right impregnation for architectural concrete? Choose a sealer based on exposure to water and dirt: for interiors – for stains and daily maintenance, and for exteriors – for rain, frost, and atmospheric dirt. Nano-Bau BETON ARCHITEKT sealer for architectural concrete is ideal when the goal is hydrophobic (water-repellent) and aesthetically pleasing surface protection without a "heavy" coating.
4 When can new concrete be impregnated? The safest way is after the concrete has fully set and dried – as standard at least 28 days (often longer if the concrete releases moisture for a long time). Impregnating concrete that is too fresh reduces its effectiveness. Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT apply only to a dry and stable surface.
5 How to prepare a concrete surface for impregnation? The key: cleanliness and dryness. Remove dust and dirt (vacuuming/dusting), remove any greasy dirt, and any efflorescence or deposits, and then allow to dry completely. Only then will the Nano-Bau BETON ARCHITEKT architectural concrete sealer penetrate evenly and work as intended.
6 How many layers of impregnation should I apply? For architectural concrete it is usually recommended 2 layers – the first one “saturates” the pores, the second one closes the protection. Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT You can apply it using the wet-on-wet technique (a second layer before the first one dries completely) to achieve a more uniform effect.
7 What are the weather conditions for concrete impregnation? Work in stable conditions: preferably approx. 15-25 ° C, no precipitation and no strong sun on the surface. Ensure 24–48 hours no rain before and after application (outdoors). Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT requires a dry substrate and time to bind in the concrete structure.
8 How long does the impregnation need to "heal"/harden? The surface is usually "safe" after a few hours, but it reaches full operational and chemical resistance after 24–72 hours (depending on conditions). After application Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT Do not wash or soak the surface intensively until it is fully set.
9 How to clean architectural concrete on a daily basis? It's best to use a gentle approach: vacuuming with a soft brush, a slightly damp mop/cloth, and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid aggressive detergents and scrubbing. After impregnation with Nano-Bau BETON ARCHITEKT architectural concrete impregnator, ongoing cleaning is usually easier because dirt is less likely to penetrate the pores.
10 How to remove oil stains from architectural concrete? Act quickly: apply absorbent material (e.g., talc/diatomaceous earth), absorb, then scrub with a mild detergent and rinse. Old stains require repeat application and gentle brushing. Preventative: Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT limits the penetration of grease, so stains are less "deep" and easier to remove.
11 How to remove wine and coffee stains from architectural concrete? First, dry (paper/cloth), then wash with a neutral detergent and water; do not leave spills to soak up. Avoid strong acids and bleach, as they can discolor the concrete. Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT reduces the penetration of dyes, so you react faster and more effectively.
12 Can I clean architectural concrete with a pressure washer? Yes, but carefully: wide stream, distance of at least 30 cm and moderate pressure (typically up to approx. 80–100 bar), without "point" holding of the nozzle. After cleaning and drying, it is worth renewing the protection – Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT will restore hydrophobicity and make subsequent washing easier.
13 How long does it take to impregnate architectural concrete? Durability depends on exposure, intensity of use, and quality of substrate preparation. In practice, protection is inspected every 1–3 seasons (more frequently outdoors), and renovation is performed when the hydrophobic effect noticeably weakens. Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT It is easiest to renew on a clean and dry surface.
14 Can I impregnate architectural concrete myself? Yes, if you stick to the regime: preparation (clean/dry), test on a small section, even application (roller/brush/spray) and proper conditions. Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT suitable for self-application, as long as you do not skip the sample and setting time.
15 What are the most common mistakes when impregnating architectural concrete? Most common: impregnation on damp or fresh concrete, lack of dust removal, skipping the test, application at the wrong temperature/in the sun, "pouring" instead of evenly spreading, washing too early after impregnation. Nano-Bau CONCRETE ARCHITECT the key is: dry substrate, even application (usually 2 layers) and real time for hardening.
