SMARTBLOND® UNIVERSAL PRIMER

SMARTBLOND® UNIVERSAL PRIMER is an ideal solution for priming various standard construction substrates. This primer is perfect for applying paints, fillers, wallpapers, adhesives and cement floors. It can be used on plasterboards, cement-lime plasters and concrete.

By reducing water absorption, dustiness and equalizing the absorbency of the substrate, you can save on the number of materials used.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The surface to be primed should be dry, load-bearing, even, and free from dust, dirt, oil and grease.

Old peeling paint layers and unbound layers should be removed mechanically.

Disinfect surfaces with visible biological contamination using a preparation for removing algae and fungi SMARTBLOND® ANTI-ALG, leave the washed substrate to dry, eliminate the cause of efflorescence and fungi. In the case of new cement, cement-lime plasters, a minimum 3-4-week seasoning period should be observed, and for gypsum plasters - 2 weeks.

DIRECTIONS:

SMARTBLOND® UNIVERSAL PRIMER is a ready-to-use product, although for less demanding surfaces it can be diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio. The product should be mixed thoroughly before use. Apply the primer once to the substrate using a roller, brush or gun (even layer). The drying time of the primer in optimal weather conditions at a temperature of 20°C and air humidity of 60% is approximately 4-6 hours.

Approximately 0,1-0,15 kg/m³ - consumption depends on the degree of absorbency and structure of the substrate.

STORAGE:

The primer should be stored in tightly closed packaging at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C. Protect against overheating and freezing. Shelf life: 24 months from the production date indicated on the packaging.
