SPECIALCHEM Concrete Architect - protection of architectural concrete is an innovative, nanotechnological product for colorless protection of surfaces made of smooth, high-density concrete. The preparation effectively impregnates and strongly hydrophobizes the surfaces of higher classes of concrete, i.e. C25, C30, C35. Thanks to the use of the impregnation, water and other contaminants do not penetrate the concrete surfaces.
Surface hydrophobization also prevents the penetration of salts transported by water, acid rain or other substances that have a negative impact on concrete, causing corrosion of the reinforcement, cracks, erosion, moss growth, salt efflorescence or just dirt.
Hydrophobization also affects the strength of concrete and increases its frost resistance. In autumn and winter, frost causes that concrete is more exposed to freezing of moisture causing internal stresses and micro-cracks, and consequently its chipping.
The impregnation, depending on the amount of used preparation, penetrates up to several mm, which guarantees resistance to mechanical abrasion, which allows it to be used both on walls and on floors or parking lots.
The use of nanoparticles guarantees the unchanged vapor permeability after impregnation, the product does not clog pores, does not lubricate and does not limit gas diffusion and water vapor removal.

Product application:
It is ideal for impregnation of smooth and vibrated concrete of low water absorption, i.e. architectural concrete, concrete driveways, concrete facades of buildings, as well as paving slabs or products such as flower pots, fencing panels and other prefabricated elements.

How to use:
- Plan the impregnation so that after its completion it does not rain for at least 3 hours. At the beginning, always test in an inconspicuous place and check if the effect is desired!
- Protect plants and all other surfaces not to be impregnated with foil, especially glass and steel. In case of contamination, clean these surfaces immediately with a wet cloth or rinse with water. The surface prepared for impregnation must be clean and dry.
- It is best to apply the appropriate amount of the preparation on the surface by spraying, but so that the impregnation does not create streaks - apply only as much impregnation as the concrete is able to absorb, the excess should be spread with a brush or removed with a cloth.
- Leave it to dry.
