NANOAUTO Cerium oxide for removing scratches on glass

NANOAUTO Cerium oxide – an essential agent in the process of polishing windows and glass, which ensures effective removal of all types of defects from their surface. This unique product is available in powder form, but requires proper preparation before use.

NANOAUTO Cerium oxide  is widely used in the glass and automotive industries, where quality and safety are crucial. Thanks to its unique properties, cerium oxide enables the effective removal of scratches, stains, streaks and other defects from the glass surface. This is extremely important because even the smallest imperfections can significantly affect driving safety, aesthetics and functionality of the windows.

To use cerium oxide effectively, proper preparation of the powder is necessary. It should be dissolved in an appropriate amount of water and then mixed thoroughly to obtain a uniform paste. This paste should have the right consistency that will allow it to be spread easily and evenly on the glass surface.

After preparing the cerium oxide paste, it should be applied to the glass surface using a special polishing tool. It is important to maintain even and gentle pressure on the glass surface when polishing. Thanks to this, cerium oxide will be able to effectively remove any defects without causing additional damage.

Once the polishing process is complete, the glass surface should be thoroughly cleaned to remove any remaining cerium oxide paste. This can be done with clean water or glass cleaner. It is also important to dry the glass thoroughly after cleaning.

Instruction:

  • To obtain a thick polishing compound, cerium oxide powder must be properly mixed with water. The proportions are 1:1 with water. After thoroughly mixing the ingredients, a ready-to-use paste is created.
  • Then, using a polishing disc made of felt and a polishing machine or drill, you can start removing defects from the glass surface. It is important not to exceed the speed of the drill, which should not exceed 600 revolutions per minute.
  • When polishing, the scratches should be evenly distributed over the surface, avoiding lingering on one part for too long. It is also worth polishing the area around the scratch to achieve a uniform effect. Remember not to polish the scratch in one place for a long time to avoid the formation of a lens, i.e. a recess in the polished area.
  • Using the prepared cerium oxide paste, it is possible to remove small scratches, degrease windows and eliminate discoloration. Thanks to the polishing properties of this agent, the glass surface becomes smooth and defect-free.
  • It is worth remembering that before polishing, the glass surface should be thoroughly cleaned to avoid contamination during the polishing process. After polishing, it is recommended to thoroughly degrease and wash the glass to remove any remnants of cerium oxide paste.
  • Cerium oxide is an effective window and glass polishing agent that allows you to remove various types of defects. Thanks to proper preparation of the paste and proper polishing technique, you can obtain a perfectly smooth and defect-free surface.
